Ghosts....

Good GOD n' Bad GOD...?

Don't miss even a single word.... It's Too good

An atheist professor of philosophy speaks to his class on the problem science has with God, The Almighty.
He asks one of his new students to stand and.....

Prof:
So you believe in God?

Student:
Absolutely, sir.

Prof
: Is God good?

Student:
Sure.

Prof:
Is God all-powerful?

Student
: Yes..

Prof:
My brother died of cancer even though he prayed to God to heal him.
Most of us would attempt to help others who are ill. But God didn't. How is this God good then? Hmm?
(Student is silent.)

Prof:
You can't answer, can you? Let's start again, young fella. Is God good?

Student:
Yes.

Prof:
Is Satan good?

Student
: No.

Prof:
Where does Satan come from?

Student:
From....God...

Prof:
That's right. Tell me son, is there evil in this world?

Student:
Yes.

Prof:
Evil is everywhere, isn't it? And God did make everything. Correct?

Student:
Yes.

Prof:
So who created evil?
(Student does not answer.)

Prof:
Is there sickness? Immorality? Hatred? Ugliness? All these terrible things exist in the world, don't they?

Student:
Yes, sir.

Prof:
So, who created them?
(Student has no answer.)

Prof:
Science says you have 5 senses you use to identify and observe the world around you.
Tell me, son...Have you ever seen God?

Student:
No, sir.

Prof:
Tell us if you have ever heard your God?

Student:
No, sir.

Prof:
Have you ever felt your God, tasted your God, smelt your God? Have you ever had any sensory perception of God for that matter?

Student:
No, sir. I'm afraid I haven't.

Prof:
Yet you still believe in Him?

Student:
Yes.

Prof:
According to empirical, testable, demonstrable protocol, science says your GOD doesn't exist..
What do you say to that, son?

Student:
Nothing. I only have my faith.

Prof:
Yes. Faith. And that is the problem science has.

Student:
Professor, is there such a thing as heat?

Prof:
Yes.

Student:
And is there such a thing as cold?

Prof:
Yes.

Student:
No sir. There isn't.
(The lecture theatre becomes very quiet with this turn of events.)

Student
: Sir, you can have lots of heat, even more heat, superheat, mega heat, white heat, a little heat or no heat..
But we don't have anything called cold. We can hit 458 degrees below zero which is no heat, but we can't
go any further after that.
There is no such thing as cold . Cold is only a word we use to describe the absence of heat
. We cannot measure cold. Heat is energy Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the absence of it .
(There is pin-drop silence in the lecture theatre.)

Student:
What about darkness, Professor? Is there such a thing as darkness?

Prof:
Yes. What is night if there isn't darkness?

Student :
You're wrong again, sir. Darkness is the absence of something. You can have low light, normal light, bright
light, flashing light.....But if you have no light constantly, you have nothing and it's called darkness, isn't it? In
reality, darkness isn't. If it were you would be able to make darkness darker, wouldn't you?

Prof:
So what is the point you are making, young man?

Student:
Sir, my point is your philosophical premise is flawed.

Prof:
Flawed? Can you explain how?

Student:
Sir, you are working on the premise of duality. You argue there is life and then there is death, a good God and a bad God. You are viewing the concept of God as something finite, something we can measure. Sir, science can't even explain a thought.. It uses electricity and magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully understood either one.To view death as the opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a substantive thing. Death is
not the opposite of life: just the absence of it.
Now tell me, Professor.Do you teach your students that they evolved from a monkey?

Prof:
If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, yes, of course, I do.

Student:
Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?
(The Professor shakes his head with a smile, beginning to realize where the argument is going.)

Student:
Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavor, are you not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you not a scientist but a preacher? (The class is in uproar.)

Student:
Is there anyone in the class who has ever seen the Professor's brain?
(The class breaks out into laughter.)

Student
: Is there anyone here who has ever heard the Professor's brain, felt it, touched or smelt it? No one appears to have done so. So, according to the established rules of empirical, stable, demonstrable protocol, science says that you have no brain,sir.
With all due respect, sir, how do we then trust your lectures, sir?
(The room is silent. The professor stares at the student, his face unfathomable.)

Prof:
I guess you'll have to take them on faith, son.

Student:
That is it sir... The link between man & god is FAITH . That is all that keeps things moving & alive.

LUCKY: I believe you have enjoyed the conversation...and if so...you'll probably want your friends/colleagues to enjoy the same...won't you?....
this is a true story, and the

student was none other than .......

How to Sell Anything to Anyone

The concept of mind control has always been irresistible to copywriters, salespeople, marketers and entrepreneurs. Why? Obviously, it gives the person who knows these psychological devices the privileged benefits to "push button" automatic fortunes.

If you're a writer, in business or in the marketing arena who's interested in specializing in this million dollar knowledge, you're in luck because I'm going to share 7 of them with you right now. And here they are:

1. Story -- Everyone loves a good story

There's a magic that happens when you tell a story. The reader or listener has to become part of the story, in order to make sense of it. This is where you get them to FEEL, and almost realistically experience -- in their imaginations, what you're telling them. Unconsciously, this creates a memory and it is harder to forget. Finally, it helps you create a bond with your prospect.

Application: Relate to your prospect and come up with a story that gives them imaginative reasons to use your product or service.

2. Time Distortion -- "Pretending They Already Are"

Here's the attitude: "You already want and own this product and let me show you what it's like to." Basically, what you're doing is future pacing their thoughts as if they are holding your product or service in their hands. Use simple descriptive phrases that initiate a "sense" or "touch" response, and it instills in the mind of your prospects that they already own it. They will begin to imagine the benefits of doing so all on their own.

Application: If you sell books, they are flipping though the pages. Electronics, they are using this neat gadget (pushing the buttons, twisting knobs etc). Cars, boats, anything -- get in and drive it, grab the wheel.

3. Credibility -- To Project Authority

Make what you say believable, and nothing outrageous. Who is backing your message? Do you have happy buyers of your products or services? What do they have to say? Put that in your message. Show them experts endorse your products. If it's not believable, your prospects are going to "pick up" on that. Credibility instills what you're saying is true, period. Just give proof.

Application: Ask your customers for testimonials, even if you have to ethically bribe them for one. Offer a free sample, bonus, or report. Simply put, the more credibility you create for you and your product or service, the more believable the message becomes, and the less resistance they have when it comes to make a buying decision.

4. Urgency -- To Act Now

Even if your sales message is emotionally driven and powerful -- making them feel like the want to buy, place a sense of urgency to reinforce them to buy it now, and to not wait, period. Limited offers, supplies won't last, this deal won't last long. No matter how powerful your sales message is, if they get away -- after so long, the feeling and their buying decision erodes away their desire to buy now, until it's gone.

Application: Come up with a compelling reason to get your prospect to feel so compelled it's absolutely necessary they must buy it now, because it's urgent. Maybe use "fear of loss."

5. I Gave It To You Free, You're Guilty -- To Create The Return Effect

Ever get an offer in the mail of a free sample of a product? Ever go to a website and get 3 free chapters of a book? Giving something to someone for free creates guilt, the feeling to give back. If your friend buys you dinner, you might feel the need to buy it next time. It's human nature. When something's given, the desire to give back is created.

Application: Give away a free sample or report -- anything for free. Make sure it is something of real value. After, suggest that you've given them something and how they're one tuff nut to crack, because you've given them something for free, and you haven't heard back from them. Sit back, and watch them buy.

6. Commit then remain Consistent -- To Create Long-Term
Friendships/Action

Here's the attitude: "If you're buying from me now, we're friends; you'll buy more from me too." You've won the customers trust once you've established the first sale, and once they're happy, make them happy again, and again. Buy something from the television and you're almost always asked to buy more, it's simple. Then, two months later, another offer from that same company rings on your phone in the other room, or the offer is waiting in your mail box when you get home. Normally, being a much higher priced product or service. Why not ask? You're obviously
qualified.

Application: If they buy once, get them to buy again and again. If you sell information memberships, sell all the tools and products that the membership consists of (improving your golf game membership website -- sell golf clubs, balls, clothing, shoes etc.) If you sell them a book, sell them a home study course that's more expensive.

7. Curiosity -- To Keep Your Prospect Tuned In

Early in your sales presentation, promise what will happen when they finish and complete your sales presentation, and keep them curious. Curiosity is a powerful tool you can use to keep your prospect in suspense, and to search out the answers to satisfy that strong desire to "fill in" the missing information. Leave out certain information in your benefits that "trigger" the thought "What will happen if?"

Application: Instill and arouse curiosity early in your sales presentation to cause your prospect to want to complete your message (i.e. tell them there's a misspelled word in your sales copy, and if they can find it -- they get a special deal. Ask them if they want to compelling benefit, and tell them they'll find the answer as they continue to read, or pay attention to you.

As you've probably noticed, it's infinitely more powerful to apply these psychological devices in your presentation when you realize they all open the flood gates of a person's brain, and deliver compelling emotions and complex thoughts and meaning. Anyone who comes across one of these seven applications will "undergo" the spell of this covert influence because it sparks response below a person's surface awareness.

So, the only question to ask yourself is: "Are *you* going to use them? To find out, simply go through the following checklist, and count the number of items that apply to you.

1. You want more sales

2. You're willing to look through your sales presentation making sure each of these devices are applied

3. You prefer to *use* powerful knowledge over just "knowing it"

4. You want more power in your ability to influence others on undetectable brain levels

5. You are curious and interested in creating more powerful "unconscious" influence

6. Covert persuasion and influence doesn't scare you and you'll use it to your advantage in ethical and judicious ways

7. You are willing to sit down and brainstorm how you can apply these psychological devices to your sales presentations, even if only applying one device a day, because you know it'll bring your more sales, and consequently, profits.

If at least 5 of the 7 above statements are true for you, then you're ready to use the most powerful form of undetectable communication that exists today. This is the best time to break into the covert persuasion and influence segment of communication.

Hey....hey........hey......Must Read...!

Dear All,
Please note this carefully:
If you receive a phone call on your Mobile from any person saying that
they are checking your mobile line or going to give you some offer/
prize, and ask you to press #90 or #09 or any other number. End that
call immediately without pressing any Number. There is a company in
Pakistan that is using a device that once you press #90 or #09 they
can access your SIM card and make calls at your expense. They are
misusing it to make calls from Indian numbers. Forward this message to
as many friends as u can, to stop it. This information has been
confirmed by both Motorola and Nokia.. There are over 3 million mobile
phones affected by this. You can check this news at CNN web site

Afghanistan public sector corruption...

In Afghanistan public sector corruption has got worse over the past two years . According to Transparency International, Afghan corruption is now seen to be more rampant than in any country apart from Somalia Pravda.Ru reports.

Releasing its annual Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) on Tuesday, the watchdog said Afghanistan had sunk for the second straight year in its ranking of 180 nations based on perceived levels of corruption in the public sector.

Exactly what is NATO doing in Afghanistan? And exactly what are the NATO countries doing in Iraq? How come both Afghanistan and Iraq are right at the bottom of the list as far as corruption goes, if NATO is running the show? And if NATO is not running the show, then how do its member states justify the billions of dollars, nay trillions, that have been spent in these two wars?

Why is NATO paying the Taliban not to attack its convoys? And why are the taxpayers in NATO countries seeing their money going to the Taliban so as not to attack NATO troops?

How to Escape the Matrix

The Matrix was one of the most popular and thought-provoking movies of all time. Viewers all over the world were captivated by the film’s primary message: People get into deep trouble when they mistake what they perceive for reality.

What most viewers do not realize is that prior to the release of this groundbreaking film, western intelligence agencies were already using the term "the Matrix" to describe today's world. This was in contrast to their work with remote viewers, who would "escape the matrix" to gather intelligence. Art truly does imitate life.

In the movie, the Matrix is an elaborate Artificial Intelligence computer simulation that's so captivating that people mistake it for reality. People perceive they are walking about and interacting with others, but their physical bodies are actually submerged in fluid-filled pods, "plugged into" the Matrix, while their vital life force is harnessed to power the Matrix.

After Neo (Keanu Reaves) learns the truth, with the help of Morpheus's (Lawrence Fishburne) training, he is able to overcome his misconception that the Matrix is reality. Neo rebels against the machines that create his false reality and, eventually, he escapes the limitations of the Matrix. To others, he has developed superhuman abilities, but, "in reality," he has merely recognized the truth.

Escaping the Matrix is a metaphor for the mystic path to enlightenment.

The Matrix can be defined as the world that we perceive, which includes the physical world, as well as higher planes of emotions and thoughts, which also affect us.

Within the Matrix are countless fear-based thoughts and emotions that condition us to accept limitations. We are taught that we have little power, and what little power we do have, we are advised to delegate to authority figures and experts. Swimming in a sea of negative thoughts, we are prompted to use our creative ability to imagine even more negative thoughts. Without introspection, the Matrix gets darker and more dense.

Anyone who blindly accepts these prevalent, negative thoughts will have his or her life path dictated by the Matrix.

But those who recognize that it is our collective thoughts and beliefs that power the Matrix will recognize the way out.

When we incarnate on earth, we temporarily forget the higher truth of who we are. Our life mission is to remember, to connect with our innermost self, so that we may transcend the Matrix.

The reality we perceive with our senses is not the true reality, but merely a small portion of reality, masquerading as the whole. But, unlike the "alternate reality" that Neo must extricate himself from, in our "reality," there is no need to rebel. Rather, our goal should be to transcend. We want to "be in this world, but not of it."

The outer world is a reflection of our inner thoughts and beliefs, whether individual or collective, which have been conditioned by our experience in the Matrix. Consequently, the Matrix is a learning environment, where we get feedback on how our thoughts manifest. Thankfully, our negative thoughts do not (typically) manifest instantaneously. Otherwise, we would risk the spontaneous destruction of our world by thinking negative thoughts.

Story with a moral.........The exposed Wife!

Just finishing her bath, a woman quickly rushed down to answer her doorbell, wrapped only in a skimpy towel. She opened the door and saw that it was Todd, their neighbour. Seeing her in the towel, Todd says, “I’ll give you five hundred bucks to drop that towel.” So she dropped the towel and takes the money. The woman went back upstairs and said to her husband, “That was Todd.” “Oh Great!” exclaims the husband, “did he say anything about the five hundred he owes me?”

Moral of the story:
Share critical information with your stakeholders in a timely manner to prevent undue exposure.

If you Not succeed at first Attempt....!!!

Children Can 'Imagine Away' Pain

Children can be taught to use their imagination to tackle frequent bouts of stomach pain, research shows.

A relaxation-type CD, asking children to imagine themselves in scenarios like floating on a cloud led to dramatic improvements in abdominal pain.

The US researchers said the technique worked particularly well in children as they have such fertile imaginations.

It has been estimated that frequent stomach pain with no identifiable cause effects up to one in five children.

The research, published in Pediatrics, follows on from studies showing hypnosis is an effective treatment for a range of conditions known as functional abdominal pain, which includes things like irritable bowel syndrome.

In this study, the children had 20 minute sessions of "guided imagery" - a technique which prompts the subject to imagine things which will reduce their discomfort.

One example is letting a special shiny object melt into their hand and then placing their hand on their belly, spreading warmth and light from the hand inside the tummy to make a protective barrier inside that prevents anything from irritating the belly

The researchers, from the University of North Carolina and Duke University Medical Center, said a lack of therapists led them to the idea of using a CD to deliver the sessions.

In all 30 children aged between six and 15 years took part in the study - half of whom used the CDs daily for eight weeks and the rest of whom got normal treatment.

Among those who had used the CDs, 73.3% reported that their abdominal pain was reduced by half or more by the end of the treatment course compared with 26.7% in the standard care group.

Importance of Vitamin C

Vitamin C is really important to your family health if you want to boost your immune system especially now that Influenza A (H1N1) is threatening everybody’s health, better eat vitamin C-rich foods everyday. Vitamin C reduces blood pressure, has the ability to reduce the severity of colds and could protect you against cataract and certain cancers too.
Red and green bell peppers, strawberries, citrus fruits, raw tomatoes, cantaloupe and broccoli are food that are rich in vitamin C. Garlic contains vitamin C too. On a book about health benefit of garlic, a professor of School Tropical Medicine from Calcutta, India revealed that vitamin C act like insulin in the body, it helps metabolize carbohydrates. Not only that, several researchers showed that vitamin C serves as great therapeutic measure in case of ulcers. Wow… what a revelation, right?

What is a Trojan horse?

The term Trojan horse is applied to malware that masquerades as a legitimate program but is in reality a malicious application. It may simply pretend to be a useful program or it may actually contain a useful function as cover for a destructive one. Screen savers are often used as a carrier. Trojan horses do not replicate themselves as do viruses and worms. However, a Trojan horse can be part of the payload of a worm and can be spread to many machines as part of a worm infestation. Many Trojan horses have been sent out as email attachments.

One favorite use of Trojan horses is to allow a malicious hacker ( more properly called a "cracker") to use systems of unsuspecting owners for attacking other machines or as zombies. Another use is for relaying spam or pornography. Yet another use is to steal account passwords and then relay them back to someone for fraudulent use. Trojans can also be destructive and wipe out files or create other damage. Recently, phishing scams have been making use of Trojans.

Sometimes social engineering is used to induce people to click on a link. Here's one that enticed people to try to download some photos:

Osama Bin Ladin was found hanged by two CNN journalists early Wednesday evening. As evidence they took several photos, some of which I have included here. As yet, this information has not hit the headlines due to Bush wanting confirmation of his identity but the journalists have released some early photos over the internet.

Instead of photos what they got was a Trojan.

Pain of a married man!!!!!

A woman awakes during the night to find that her husband was not in bed.

She goes downstairs to look for him. She finds him sitting at the kitchen table with a cup of coffee in front of him.

He appears to be in deep thought, just staring at the wall. She watches as he wipes a tear from his eye and takes a sip of his coffee.

"What's the matter, dear?" she whispers as she steps into the room. "Why are you down here at this time of night?"

The husband looks up from his coffee, "Do you remember 20 years ago when we were dating, and you were only 18?" he asks solemnly. "Yes I do" she replies.

The husband pauses; the words were not coming easily. "Do you remember when your father caught us in the garden?"

"Yes, I remember" said the wife, lowering herself into a chair beside him.

The husband continued.. "Do you remember when he showed the shotgun in my face and said, 'Either you marry my daughter, or I'll send you to jail for 20 years?"

"I remember that too" she replied softly.

He wiped another tear from his cheek and said, "I would have been released today!"

The Super Suggestion Technique for Creating Whatever You Desire

1. THE DAILY DECLARATION TECHNIQUE

STEP ONE: List every thing that you need

STEP TWO: List every thing that you want

STEP THREE: List the personal qualities you need or want

STEP FOUR: Turn lists into goals

Each morning:

1. Immediately upon awakening, read your list of goals as you prepared. READ ALOUD, if this is not possible, then move your lips as you read silently. This is IMPORTANT.
2. After reading each goal, pause, and visualize in your mind your goals already accomplished.

Each evening:

Just before you go to sleep, repeat the morning process.

CAUTIONS:

1. Don’t tell anyone about your goals. The minute you start telling others, the energy that you’ve build up is gone.
2. You must do it daily, if you miss a day, the effectiveness will drop dramatically.

Let’s move on to the second strategy for changing your Inadequate Self Image.

2. THE SUPER SUGGESTION TECHNIQUE

1. Take one intangible goal from your daily declaration goal list. Intangible goals are those regarding to your basic personality or character qualities, such as the ability to concentrate, the ability to read faster etc. Choose ONE goal only! To maximize the effectiveness of super suggestion, you should work on one intangible goal only until it is attained. You’ll be surprised how fast you can accomplish that.

2. Take one or two keywords from your goal statement that you choose. You will use the keywords instead of the whole statement while you are in the lower state of consciousness, so that you don’t have to commit the entire statement into memory.

3. Read your entire goal statement

4. Go to the lower level of consciousness using the method I just described.

5. Repeat the keywords several times.

6. Come back to the normal state by counting from 20 to 1. When you reach 1, tell yourself you feel fully awake, totally alert.

NOTE: Both daily declaration and super suggestion must be carried out each day.
Daily declaration is for both tangible goals and intangible goals. Super suggestion is
for intangible goals only. Daily declaration should be done every morning and
evening, and as many times as you want throughout the day. Super suggestion needs only be done once a day, suggested time is before lunchtime. And with super suggestion, you work on ONE goal at a time.

Your Energy Level Determines Your Luck

Many people think that luck is something that is purely random, unpredictable and difficult to control. That is because they do not know what luck really is. When you are able to know the true definition of luck, you can learn the whole science behind this phenomena and gain control over it.

Luck is another aspect of your reality and perhaps the most powerful and important one. The more conscious and aware you become of the elements of your reality, the more of a conscious and powerful creator you will be.

Your luck is your psychokinetic resonance with the environment you are in. Like everything else, luck is an energy. It is something that is quantifiable not in physical but in nonphysical ways. You can quantify it physically only in terms of its physical manifestations in your life. Luck is dependent on time, place and consciousness.

When you are lucky, you are in mental and emotional resonance with your surroundings.

When you are unlucky, it is the opposite. The level of resonance is the level of your luck.

Luck is also a feeling or emotion because emotion is energy in motion. When you are lucky, you are also feeling lucky. Your feeling is your vibration and therefore you are vibrating luck and feeing it. You feel and experience that everything is working for you when you are lucky.

You feel that everything is working against you when you aren't lucky. A state of vibrational harmony or disharmony with your environment is the whole explanation for this. You either feel that things are in a flow or things are disrupted.

Your energy level determines your luck vibration. At times when you are feeling low of energy, that is also when your luck vibration is at a low point. You are more likely to make careless mistakes, become more accident prone and flop up in some way. When you are feeling high of energy, that is also when your luck vibration is in a high state. You are sharper, clearer and more in the zone. You seem to be able to do amazing things in ways that baffle others to the point that makes you seem very skillful or lucky.

Actually luck and skill are one. The more in energetic resonance you are with your environment, the more your skill will work and the luckier you'll seem. You can always observe that when the best are in action, they always seem to have both their skill and the situation working for them. You can never separate luck from skill because after all, they are both part of the same thing called psychokinetic resonance with the environment. Your skill is your capability of handling the situation which depends on luck.

Once you know that luck is an energy, you can depend on it in that manner. You cannot depend on luck that is considered to be random chance occurrence. You can't depend on such things because they do not exist. A non existent thing cannot be depended upon. Everything that exists is a part of consciousness and can be controlled by consciousness. Therefore luck exist and is fully under your control. Knowing this, you never have to fear of bad luck because you can make all things work in your favor.

Since luck is dependent on energy, you have to pay attention to your level of energy in every moment and take charge of it. When you notice that your energy level is low, be more careful with the things you do especially if they are important. You may make mistakes that usually never happen, and wonder how could you be so unlucky or stupid.

You may realize that every time you have made careless or stupid mistakes that seem to be like bad luck, it was when your energy level was indeed at a low point.

Lack of focus and lack of being adequately present minded also creates bad luck. Do you notice that when you make stupid mistakes in situations, you felt that you were not ready? What do you mean by not being ready? You mean that you weren't focusing properly or fully enough, and you weren't being adequately present minded. The first step to controlling luck is to be present minded. If you want to be lucky, you must put your focus in the activity you are doing. Or else you'd create bad luck and mistakes.

Your level of focus and placing your mind in the present determines your psychokinetic resonance with the environment. Focusing is how you channel energy towards a particular time and place. When your focus is here, your energy is channeled here and you experience luck here. Where you focus is where you generate luck in. That is why the secret of success is focus. Successful people are lucky people because they have more focus than the unsuccessful and unlucky ones. Focus to be a lucky one.

Seek to maintain a high level of energy or vibration at all times. People who experience their luck going up and down throughout the day allow their energy to go up and down. People who experience their luck being consistently high all the time maintain their energy and vibration at a high level. At times when your energy is low, seek to increase it to a higher level again. Do not continue doing any work at a low level of energy because you will tend to make mistakes. Recharge your energy first, then work.

Be aware of negative thoughts and feelings that will bring your level of energy or vibration lower. Positive thoughts and feelings bring your energy level and vibrations higher. Therefore choose to think positive thoughts and feel positive emotions, and you will experience more luck and success in your life. You can also increase your luck when you are more intent of succeeding in a certain situation. Your energy of intent will energize you with the luck you need, and that is why willful intent bends the world to you.

How to add a HyperlinkListener to a Java component

Using hypertext and hyperlinks in Java JFC/Swing applications makes them look more like web applications, and that's often a good thing. Here's a quick example of how to add a HyperlinkListener to a component in Java. In this case the component I'm going to use is a JEditorPane.

1. First, create JEditorPane, and place it on a container. I've created an object named
menuEditorPane that is a a JEditorPane
2. Next, set the content type of the JEditorPane to "text/html", like this:

menuEditorPane.setContentType("text/html");

3. Next, set the actual content of the JEditorPane. In my case I've done it in a
method, like this:

void setMenuItems()
{
StringBuffer sb = new StringBuffer();
sb.append("Do the foo action
");
sb.append("Do the bar thing
");
menuEditorPane.setText(sb.toString());
}

4. Import two needed classes, like this:

import javax.swing.event.HyperlinkListener;
import javax.swing.event.HyperlinkEvent;

5. Implement a HyperlinkListener, as shown below. Note that the text you get when you
look at e.getDescription() is the URL of the hyperlink.

class MenuPaneHyperlinkListener implements HyperlinkListener
{
public void hyperlinkUpdate(HyperlinkEvent e) {
if (e.getEventType() == HyperlinkEvent.EventType.ACTIVATED) {
StringTokenizer st = new StringTokenizer(e.getDescription(), " ");
if (st.hasMoreTokens()) {
String s = st.nextToken();
System.err.println("token: " + s);
}
}
}
}

6. Add your HyperlinkListener to the JEditorPane, like this:

menuEditorPane.addHyperlinkListener(new MenuPaneHyperlinkListener());

How to train to become an efficient Motivational Speaker

Get a good tutor or guide - Get the guidance from a successful motivational speaker. With the proper guidance from a good guide, you can easily deal with aggravation, frustration, and confusion which can accompany you during speech delivery. Also the guide may teach you the thinks you must not do while preparing and making your motivational speech. Moreover, an experienced guide may provide you with strong suggestions.

You must be trained to choose an important problem or message as your speech topic - Choose to speak about a problem in your society. Try to give simple solutions for an important problem that you find in your society. Speak about what you know the best.

You must be trained to market your speech profession - Market your motivational speech business through fabulous promotional booklets such as brochures, testimonials, demos, referrals, and websites.

You must be trained to develop your speaking ability - You should develop your speaking ability through enough practice in order to become a great motivational speaker.

You must be trained to create an outline of your speech presentation - Create an outline of what you have to speak during a show. The outline you created for your speech can be used as a framework for your talk.

You must be trained to give visual presentations related with your speech topic - Most people can gain more information about your speech only through a visual presentation than a spoken one. Hence, it is very important to prepare and give visual presentations related with your speech topic.

You must be trained to overcome nervousness- When you forget what to say or when you get nervous in front of the audience, do not continue your speech. Instead, take a deep breath, and speak from your heart to give some of your truthful experiences. Do not worry about what the audience will think about you. But just focus on how you can satisfy your audience.

You must be trained to present your speech carefully - It is very important to speak legibly and clearly. Stress and repeat your main messages at least three to four times. Avoid using filler words such as uh, um, eh, etc. Do not give a long pause in between your speech. Do not bore your audience with your continuous speech. Instead make it a point to create a fun and lively environment.

You must be trained to notify your availability- You must notify not-for-profit corporations, professional groups and Contact speakers' bureaus of your availability as a motivational speaker. Some Contact speakers' bureaus may charge you to put your service under list.

You must be trained to present yourself smart before the audience - Dress up yourself such that you express professionalism and success. Business apparel is doubtlessly the best one for any motivational speech.

If you start your motivational speech career strongly under a good guidance and make certain that you are moving ahead in the right direction carefully, I am sure that you can enjoy the speech time and financial freedom as a successful motivational speaker.

What Is .NET...?

.NET

The .NET Framework is Microsoft's application development platform that enables developers to easily create Windows applications, web applications, and web services using a myriad of different programming languages, and without having to worry about low-level details like memory management and processor-specific instructions.

The Runtime

At the heart of .NET is the Common Language Runtime, commonly referred to as the CLR. The CLR is made up of a number of different parts, which I will be covering here piece by piece (if you didn't want a technical article then you should've followed the marketing link).

1. Language Independence

One of the most important facets of the .NET Framework is language independence. You can write .NET applications using any number of different programming languages. The most popular languages tend to be C# and VB.NET, but many other languages now have .NET versions including Python, COBOL, and more. You can see a list of many of the languages you can use with .NET over at dotnetpowered.com/languages.aspx.

Language independence is attained through the use of an intermediate language (IL). What this means is that instead of code being compiled in actual machine code (code that the CPU would run), it is instead compiled into a high-level generic language. This means that whatever language you write your code in, when you compile it with .NET it will become IL. Since all languages eventually get translated into the intermediate language, the runtime only has to worry about understanding and working with the intermediate language instead of the plethora of languages that you could actually use to write code.

2. Just-in-Time Compilation

If your mantra is, "Why do something now you can put off till tomorrow?" then you have something in common with the CLR. When you compile your code and it is translated to the intermediate language it is then simply stored in an assembly. When that assembly is used the CLR picks up that code and compiles it on-the-fly for the specific machine that is running the code. This means the runtime could compile the code differently based on what CPU or operating system the application is being run on. However, at this point the CLR doesn't compile everything in the assembly; it only compiles the individual method that is being invoked. This kind of on-the-fly compilation, referred to as jitting, only happens once per method call. The next time a method is called, no compilation occurs because the CLR has already compiled that code.

3. Memory Management

One of the constant assailants on productivity in unmanaged programming platforms is manually managing memory. Having to deal with memory management is also one of the largest sources for bugs and security holes in many applications. .NET removes the hassle of manually managing memory through the use of the aptly named garbage collector. Instead of the developer needing to remove objects from memory, the garbage collector looks at the current objects in memory and then decides which ones aren't needed anymore. For some developers this will be a tough pill to swallow; if you are used to managing memory then turning it over to an automated process can be somewhat troubling. This is when you have to take a step back, stop worrying, and embrace the runtime. There are bigger problems to solve (namely the business problems that are probably the real goal).

Alternative CLR Implementations

The .NET runtime is actually based on a standard developed by Microsoft called the CLI or Common Language Infrastructure, portions of which have been submitted to Ecma as an international standard. Because the CLR is based on an open standard, there have been a number of alternative CLR implementations, most notably Rotor and Mono. Rotor was a project from Microsoft Research, is a version of the CLR that will run on Mac OS, and is shared source. Mono is an independent open source implementation of the CLR that runs on various Linux distributions. While "Write once, run away" is not always realistic with .NET, there are some options available when it comes to other platforms. (Some code can be moved without issue, but most will require some tweaking, as different implementation includes different functionality.)

The Library

While the runtime is definitely the most important part of .NET, you can't do too much with it by itself. This is where the Base Class Library (or BCL) comes in. The BCL includes a lot of the plumbing of .NET, including the system types, IO, and functions for working with text. In addition to the BCL, there is the Framework Class Library (FCL). The FCL is an extended library that makes working with the .NET Framework practical and includes the following major pieces:

Apple's White 13-inch MacBook; What lies inside?

On 27 may 2009, Apple introduces its latest update of white MacBook called as MC240LL/A. It can be treated as the replacement to both the iBook and the 12-inch PowerBook.

New Features:

• Apple increases the speed of the laptop's Core 2 Duo processors from 2GHz to 2.13GHz and also increased the hard drive capacity from 120GB to 160GB, which can be expandable up to 500GB.

• The new MacBook now uses faster 800MHz DDR2 memory than its last iteration, which used 667MHz DDR2 RAM. The minimum operating system required for the laptop is Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.7.

• The white MacBook now meets Energy Star Version 5.0 requirements and is rated EPEAT Gold, compared to Silver rating on the previous model.

• The MacBook uses magnets instead of a physical latch to hold the lid closed.

• Graphics: nVidia GeForce 9400M using 256MB RAM.

• Dimensions: 1.08 x 12.78 x 8.92 in/27.5 x 325 x 227 mm.

• Weight: the laptop weighs around 5.0 lb/2.3 kg.

These updates amount to not only a better performing entry-level MacBook, but also a system that's faster than the 2.0GHz aluminum unibody MacBook that Apple sells for $200 more.

Apart from the changes from the aluminum MacBook, both systems have Core 2 Duo processors with 3MB of shared L2 cache, 8x DVD-burning SuperDrives, 160GB hard drives, and 2GB of RAM (expandable up to 4GB). Also, they sports glossy 13.3-inch LCD displays with 1280 x 800 pixel resolution, 1066MHz system buses and use Nvidia GeForce9400M graphics. The new device uses the older polycarbonate shell, has the older mini-DVI port and is the only current MacBook to include FireWire.

In addition there are two USB 2.0 ports, an integrated iSight camera above the screen. Networking options include 802.11g Wi-Fi, Gigabit Ethernet, and Bluetooth 2.0+EDR.

Performance:

After various tests, it is found that the new device is approximately 6.5% faster than the 2GHz white MacBook it replaces. The new model sports about an 8% speed up in Photoshop times and iTunes MP3 encoding scores. Cinema 4D was about 5% faster on the new white MacBook.

Battery life:

The US Apple store now advertises that the white 13-inch MacBook has 5 hrs of battery life up from a promised 4.5 hours. But with full brightness it could run for about three and half hours, which is about half-an-hour more than its predecessor.
